Every ems-solar module crosses six automated lines in a plant rated at 2 GW+ per year, running 24/7. From cell stringing to the final flash test, the process is governed by the IEC 62941 quality system — and every unit leaves with a serial number tied to its own test record.

Process · Lamination

Lamination at 140–150 °C

Cell strings are encapsulated between glass and backsheet — or a second glass layer for dual-glass builds — in a vacuum laminator. Temperature, pressure and vacuum curves are logged per batch, not eyeballed.

Robotics and AOI on every string

MBB/SMBB stringers place and inspect each string; automated optical inspection flags cell cracks before lamination. Six lines share one MES, so a serial number maps to its BOM lot in seconds.

Quality · System

IEC 62941 governed production

The whole plant runs under the IEC 62941 quality-management standard for PV manufacturing: documented processes, change control and audit trails. ISO 9001/14001/45001 cover the management system around it, with audit reports available on request.

Process Chain

Six stages from cell to sealed module

Each stage has its own inspection gate. Your customer's cooperation point is noted where it matters — sample approval and spec freeze before production starts.

Cell preparation

Wafers are sliced and textured into an alkaline pyramid structure. Incoming cell lots are sampled and IV-sorted before they reach the line.

Passivation & metallization

TOPCon tunnel-oxide passivation and screen-printed MBB metallization define the cell's efficiency ceiling — −0.29%/°C for our N-type line.

Stringing

MBB/SMBB stringers weld cells into strings; automated optical inspection rejects cracked cells before encapsulation.

Layup & lamination

Glass, encapsulant and backsheet — or second glass for dual-glass — are stacked and cured at 140–150 °C in a vacuum laminator.

Framing & junction box

Anodized aluminium frame and J-box are attached, then the module is cleaned and prepared for electrical testing.

Testing & packaging

100% EL imaging and IV flash at STC, visual/AOI check, then vertical palletizing at 2 pcs per carton for shipment.

Global shipments reached 536 GW in 2025 — at that pace, capacity allocation is what separates a supplier from a partner. We hold stock formats ready to despatch in 3–7 days, reserve production slots 20–30 days out, and lock OEM capacity up to 30–40 days ahead with a 30% deposit.
