HJT Premium · 400–730 W

The premium line,
measured in heat.

Heterojunction cells stack thin amorphous-silicon layers onto a crystalline wafer, giving HJT the market's lowest temperature coefficient — −0.24 to −0.26%/°C — and a near-symmetric structure with ≥85–90% bifaciality. That combination is why 700 W-class HJT modules already reach 23.66% efficiency, and why hot-climate buyers pay the premium.

What Is HJT

Two silicon worlds in one cell

An HJT cell sandwiches a crystalline silicon wafer between thin amorphous-silicon layers. The junction forms at the interface, so the cell needs no high-temperature doping — the result is a symmetric, passivated structure that degrades slowly and loses less output as the module heats up. Buyers feel it in three numbers:

  • −0.24 to −0.26%/°C — the market's lowest temperature coefficient; on a 45 °C desert noon an HJT module holds more of its rated power than any mainstream N-type line
  • ≥85–90% bifaciality — the near-symmetric cell collects rear light on white sand, snow and tracker sites
  • 0.4%/yr linear degradation — suppressed LID/LeTID keeps output on the 30-year curve to 87.4% at year 30

In 2025 the world shipped 536 GW of modules and consolidation favored premium N-type capacity — HJT is the line to pair with TOPCon volume when your site runs hot.

Why Buyers Choose HJT

Three numbers importers quote back to us

Temperature

−0.24%/°C

The market's lowest temperature coefficient. On a 45 °C desert noon, HJT holds roughly 0.05%/°C more output than a mainstream N-type module — real kWh at peak prices.

Bifaciality

≥85–90%

Near-symmetric HJT cells capture rear light. On white sand or elevated tracker mounts, the rear side contributes measurable yield on top of the front rating.

Yield math

USD 39/MWh LCOE

Global utility LCOE sits near USD 39/MWh in 2025 and is forecast to fall ~30% by 2035 — every yield point counts, and hot-climate projects earn HJT's advantage.

Target Markets

Where the heat advantage pays

Middle East

Desert utility

White-sand albedo plus 45 °C+ summers — HJT's temperature behavior and ≥85% bifaciality are built for these sites.

SE Asia

Humid tropics

High heat and humidity year-round; the symmetric passivated stack resists humidity-driven degradation across a 30-year life.

Southern EU

Premium rooftop

400–430 W formats for feed-in and self-consumption projects where per-kWh yield matters more than first cost.

Hybrid fleet

HJT + TOPCon mix

One PO, one container: HJT for premium sites, TOPCon for volume — mixed-container MOQ saves 2–5% vs separate shipments.

HJT FAQ

Before you send the RFQ

Answers to the four questions that decide an HJT order. The full 16-question FAQ covers MOQ, shipping and warranty terms.

Full FAQ
How much more does HJT cost than TOPCon?
Expect a premium of roughly 3–8% per watt on comparable power classes. You trade it back in hot-climate yield and lower degradation across the 30-year warranty window.
Which certificates ship with HJT modules?
IEC 61215, IEC 61730, CE, ISO 9001/14001/45001 and IEC 62941 as standard; UL 61730 for the North American market is available on request.
Can I mix HJT and TOPCon in one container?
Yes — a hybrid container splits HJT for premium sites and TOPCon for volume under one PO and one shipment, saving 2–5% versus separate freight.
What warranty applies?
15-year product and 30-year linear power warranty — 0.4%/yr to 87.4% at year 30, factory-backed and transferable to your end customer.
